So Long 2016

Hello Sweet Friends. Well, I decided to end the year with my second ever blog post.

As we all know, 2016 was a good year for some, and an awful year for many. It sure did have it's share of ups and downs. Loves and losses and crazy political things we don't need to get into. America, we are here if you need us;)

My year started out re-opening my store in a new location ,independently after starting the business as a partnership. Needless to say, that was a difficult point for me. After almost an entire year solo, I couldn't be happier with my decision to continue as a retail florist in a small, welcoming community. Thank you all for being so supportive and amazing xo

Since 2016 was a crummy one for so many, I wanted to share some of my favourite images from a wedding that I really feel passionate about. The Mother of the bride is a very dear friend and I was honoured to create for her daughter on her important day. The couple had such incredible taste and despite the rain, it was one of the most beautiful functions I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. Foxglove Photography captured the event and Bin 23 handled the Catering.

This is my sunshine through the fog of 2016. Bring on 2017! A year of beauty and positivity. XO

The vase of many faces! And the Mother of the Brides favourite vessel of the 108 they trusted me to fill. I must admit, it quickly became a favourite of mine as well. My husband dubbed to the Game of Thrones vase:)

Yes! Every Wedding should have a campground of Westies for their guests and Wedding Party. In my opinion;)

The old drive shed on the venue property quickly became the back up ceremony site as the rain came. I must say, it turned out pretty darn beautiful and perfectly intimate.

So many fun details were everywhere throughout the reception space.

In place of passed hors d'oeuvres, the couple opted for placed charcuterie boards. Which doubled as gifts to their guests!
